Ann and Troy are natives of
Johnston County, near the town of Benson. Bryant Henderson's maternal grandmother grew up near the Johnston County town of Four Oaks. Southeastern Johnston County is the location of the Bentonville Battleground State Historic Site, the location of the last major Confederate offensive of the war, fought in March of 1865.
